Voldemort, Sirius Black, & Luna Lovegood Second Generation Wands Arrive at Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando Resort has expanded its interactive wand collection with three highly anticipated character additions now available at the Universal Studio Store in CityWalk. Voldemort, Sirius Black, and Luna Lovegood interactive wands have officially arrived, marking the first time these specific character designs have been included in the resort's spell-casting merchandise lineup.

The interactive wand system at Universal Orlando allows visitors to perform magical spells at designated locations throughout both Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure. Each wand comes with a map showing spell locations and the specific wand movements required to trigger magical effects throughout The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Voldemort's wand represents the most significant villain addition to the interactive collection since the program launched. The Dark Lord's distinctive bone-white wand, as depicted in the film series, joins other Death Eater wands already available in the collection. Universal's prop replica matches the film design created by original Harry Potter production designer Stuart Craig.

Sirius Black's wand fills a notable gap in the Marauders representation within Universal's merchandise offerings. The wand design reflects the character's rebellious nature and Animagus abilities, drawing from Gary Oldman's portrayal in the film series. Black's wand joins existing Order of the Phoenix member wands in the collection.
Luna Lovegood's interactive wand provides the first Ravenclaw student representation in Universal's spell-casting collection. Evanna Lynch's character became a fan favorite following her debut in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, making her wand one of the most requested additions by collectors and park visitors.

The Universal Studio Store in CityWalk serves as the primary destination for these new releases. Located at the entrance to Universal Orlando Resort, the store provides access to the full range of Wizarding World merchandise without requiring theme park admission. The store typically stocks the complete interactive wand collection alongside non-interactive replica versions.
Interactive wands at Universal Orlando retail for $75 each, while non-interactive replica versions cost $55. The interactive versions include the spell map and bronze medallion required for the magical effects system throughout both Wizarding World locations.
Universal Orlando's interactive wand collection previously included characters such as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Dumbledore, Snape, and McGonagall. The addition of Voldemort, Sirius Black, and Luna Lovegood brings the total interactive character wand count to over fifteen different designs.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened at Universal Orlando in two phases, with Hogsmeade debuting at Islands of Adventure in June 2010 and Diagon Alley opening at Universal Studios Florida in July 2014. The interactive wand system launched alongside Diagon Alley, featuring bronze medallion markers throughout both parks that respond to specific wand movements.
Collectors frequently monitor Universal Orlando's merchandise releases, as popular character wands can experience periodic stock shortages during peak visitation periods. The resort typically restocks popular items regularly, though specific character designs may temporarily sell out during busy seasons.
The three new wand additions reflect Universal's ongoing expansion of Harry Potter merchandise offerings. The resort continues adding new magical experiences and merchandise collections as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter maintains its position as one of Universal Orlando's most popular themed areas.
