The Noble Collection has secured official licensing rights to produce collectibles for HBO's upcoming Harry Potter television series, with wand replicas serving as their inaugural product line for the highly anticipated show premiering this Christmas.

The partnership represents a significant expansion for The Noble Collection, which has maintained its position as the premier manufacturer of Harry Potter collectibles for over two decades since the original film series began. The company has produced more than 200 different Harry Potter items, including character wands, jewelry, home décor, and prop replicas that have generated hundreds of millions in retail sales worldwide.

HBO's Harry Potter series, officially announced in April 2023, will adapt J.K. Rowling's seven-book series across multiple seasons, with each book receiving dedicated screen time. The show represents Warner Bros. Discovery's largest television investment in the wizarding world franchise, with production budgets exceeding $200 million for the initial seasons.

The Noble Collection's licensing agreement specifically covers character wands from the HBO series cast, which will feature entirely new actors portraying the iconic characters. This marks the first time the company will create wand replicas based on a television adaptation rather than the original film series that concluded in 2011 with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2."

Company executives confirmed that the HBO wand collection will utilize the same materials and craftsmanship standards that established their reputation in the collectibles market. Each wand undergoes a 15-step manufacturing process, incorporating resin casting, hand-painting, and individual quality inspection before packaging.

The timing of this announcement aligns with renewed interest in Harry Potter merchandise, driven partly by the success of "Hogwarts Legacy," which became 2023's best-selling video game with over 22 million copies sold. The gaming success demonstrated sustained consumer appetite for wizarding world content across different media formats.

The Noble Collection operates manufacturing facilities in China and distribution centers across North America and Europe, enabling global product launches that coincide with major entertainment releases. Their existing Harry Potter catalog includes wands for 47 different characters from the original films, priced between $35 and $65 for standard replicas.

Industry analysts project that HBO's series will generate merchandise sales comparable to the original film franchise, which produced over $7 billion in licensed product revenue between 2001 and 2011. The streaming platform's global reach, combined with the show's multi-season format, provides sustained marketing opportunities for collectible releases.

The company plans to reveal the first HBO series wand designs following the show's Christmas premiere, with initial products scheduled for retail availability in early 2027. Additional collectible categories beyond wands remain under consideration, pending the series' reception and character development throughout the first season.

This licensing partnership positions The Noble Collection to maintain its dominance in wizarding world collectibles as the franchise transitions from its film legacy to television's expanded storytelling format.
